Creating one of the most modern and extensive radiation oncology facilities, the Cancer Centre at Guy’s & St. Thomas’ Hospital of London recently completed the installation of six new Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators in its new state-of-the art facility and two additional units in its satellite facility. MPSi worked with the hospital’s physics team to complete an on-time and on-budget commissioning of all eight of the new linear accelerators with the Eclipse Treatment Planning System. This substantial number of new linear accelerators has expanded the hospital’s ability to treat its patients and to participate in cutting edge medical research.
