Sahlgrenska Hospital in Gothenburg, Sweden, has recently started treating patients in their radiation therapy department using two new Varian TrueBeam STX linear accelerators. These new linear accelerators were successfully commissioned by MPSi working together with the hospital’s medical physics team. This new equipment will substantially expand the hospital’s ability to effectively treat its patients as well as provide its staff and students with state of the art research tools.
